InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) opened its ninth IHG®-branded property for the State of Veracruz – current properties include two Crowne Plaza® hotels, four Holiday Inn® hotels, one Holiday Inn Express® hotel and one Hotel Indigo® hotel.
The 120-room Holiday Inn® Coatzacoalcos hotel became the hotel chain’s first property in Coatzacoalcos.
“Coatzacoalcos is a major city in Veracruz, home to the busiest port in the Gulf of Mexico and many major petrochemical companies”, said Gerardo Murray, regional vice president, Distribution and Commercial Marketing, Mexico, Latin America & Caribbean, IHG. “We are excited to provide guests in this region all the services and amenities that travelers need while also offering comfortable accommodations.”
The 120-room Holiday Inn Coatzacoalcos hotel includes two master suites and one presidential suite – all facing beautiful ocean views.
Guest beds are made using crisp, white bedding with pillows that come in two comfort levels: “soft” and “firm.” Rooms also include business-focused necessities such as an ergonomic workstation, data ports and complimentary local newspapers. The bathrooms include a multifunctional showerhead, as well as a signature shower curtain with curved rod, and bath products. Additionally, each room has a comfortable double, queen or king-sized bed, a sitting area with a lounge chair, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.
Other amenities include a swimming pool, a fully-equipped fitness center, and four meeting rooms with a capacity for up to 800 people. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s restaurant Bar Las Ventanas offering various dining options including international cuisine and Mexican regional dishes. Kids 12 and younger eat free at Holiday Inn hotels when ordering from the kids’ menu in the hotel restaurant and accompanied by a dining adult. Room Service Right … On Time™, also a standard at all Holiday Inn hotels, ensures that guests’ room service orders are accurate and delivered on time, every time.
