Courtyard by Marriott Opens First Hotel in Colombia

Marriott International, Inc. announced the opening of the new 144-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Bogota, known as Colombia’s largest financial, political, and cultural center, also known as one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in South America. The hotel is located on the prestigious Avenida El Dorado, making it the closest hotel to the recently inaugurated new terminal at El Dorado International Airport, and is part of a mixed-use complex which includes prime office and retail space.

“The El Dorado Airport recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation and is considered among the key hubs in Latin America, making the Courtyard by Marriott Bogota on Avenida El Dorado an excellent option for the modern regional business traveler,” said Sergio Ohliger, general manager of the hotel.

The hotel features the brand’s refreshing business lobby, lobby bar, the casual dining CENTRO restaurant, flexible meeting space and recreational facilities, including a swimming pool and sauna. Additionally, it includes the brand’s new modern guestroom design that helps guests stay connected, productive and comfortable. Thoughtfully planned, each guest room features plush bedding, a functional work space, spacious bathrooms, a separate seating area and complimentary in-room high-speed Internet.

Marriott International is currently represented in Colombia by the 264-room JW Marriott Hotel Bogota, the 239-room Bogota Marriott Hotel, the 170-room Cali Marriott Hotel and 64-room The Artisan D.C. Hotel from our Autograph Collection.
