Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa, located in Orange County, CA, will debut as a Tribute Portfolio hotel in spring 2016. New from Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Tribute Portfolio is comprised of exceptional independent hotels around the globe, offering guests and owners the ability to “Stay Independent.” The 238-room hotel is poised in the hub of Orange County’s Corporate and Cultural Center and the Performing Arts District, as well as steps away from South Coast Plaza, the renowned luxury shopping destination.

“We are thrilled to welcome our second hotel in California, bringing the ‘Stay Independent’ mindset to Orange County,” said Dave Marr, Global Brand Leader for Tribute Portfolio. “We look forward to working with the ownership team and to providing our loyal Starwood guests and customers a classically designed, quintessential California hotel experience at Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa.”

Designed by renowned architecture and interior design firm Dianna Wong, the hotel’s lakeside location provides opportunities for guests to soak up the California sun while enjoying a myriad of modern amenities and activities, such as going for a run on the well-manicured jogging trails around the three-acre property or enjoying a lazy day by the pool in one of the private cabanas. Guests can enjoy full service dining at the Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar, with seasonally-driven menus serving modern California fare, full of bold and unique flavors, by executive chef Eddie Garcia. Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa also offers a fully equipped fitness center, including whirlpool and sauna facilities.

After their renovation, each of the 238 guest rooms featuring 35 suites at this 4-diamond hotel will feature hardwood floors, majestic granite bathrooms with organic toiletries and inspiring design that draws upon the best of both Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. The Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa also boasts seven flexible meeting rooms totaling 6,800 square feet of space, including an Executive Boardroom that seats 15 people and a more than 3,400 square foot Grand Ballroom that can accommodate up to 250 banquet guests. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service and professional multi-lingual associates on hand 24/7 to assist international guests. The hotel has a team of experienced wedding planners and talented culinary artists on-site to help plan magnificent weddings, using the lake as a stunning backdrop.
