ONYX Hospitality Group has signed a management agreement with Junson Capital for a new project in Chengdu, China, under the serviced apartment brand, Shama. This brings the group’s total number of properties in the region to 61, including 20 in the pipeline.
Perfectly positioned within the Tianfu New Area, the up-and-coming, state-level development zone in Sichuan province, Shama Xiangnanli Chengdu will be a 252-key serviced apartment, nearby the retail area Xiangnanli, which are all scheduled to open in 2017. This new-build will boast a wide range of apartment types – from studios to three-bedroom apartments, catering to all tenant needs from individual business travellers to families. Each unit will be tastefully furnished, featuring generous living and dining spaces, fully equipped kitchenette and Wi-Fi access.
