Hilton Debuts Two Hotels in Portugal

Hilton is launching two hotels in Portugal under its Curio Collection by Hilton brand. Hilton has three hotels in Portugal. The two new hotels will join Conrad Algarve, Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa and DoubleTree by Hilton Lisbon Fontana Park.

The collection of remarkable upper-upscale hotels and resorts will be joined by The Emerald House Lisbon, which will open in the Portuguese capital in Summer 2020, and Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia in Porto, which will welcome guests in a phased opening in December 2019 with the hotel fully operational in Spring 2020.

The landmark openings will mark significant milestones for Hilton as it delivers on its global growth goals and expands into key European destinations. Hilton, which currently offers 17 world-class hospitality brands, operates a multi-brand strategy offering choice to investors, owners and guests through its range of hospitality options and brand experiences. Curio Collection by Hilton hotels and resorts are united in their individuality with each property carefully selected for its unique character and personality. With a global portfolio of more than 80 one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts, 17 properties currently trading in Europe and a further 19 under development, the collection boasts properties in exceptional destinations, including London, Rome and Paris.

Located in the heart of the capital, The Emerald House Lisbon is steps away from many of Lisbon’s top attractions and the historical districts of Chiado and Baixa, known for its vibrant restaurant scene, boutique shops and local culture. The 67-room hotel will offer a fitness centre, restaurant and bar for guests and local residents to enjoy. The property will open following a multi-million Euro renovation with interiors styled to reflect the city and the hotel’s elegant neighbourhood. The Emerald House Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton will be located at Rua das Janelas/Travessa Dom Bras/Rua do Olival; 1200-629 – Lisbon – Portugal.

Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton

Located within three hectares of historic gardens and next to one of Porto’s oldest wineries, the Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia offers an authentic Porto experience. The hotel, which is undergoing a renovation as part of its conversion, will open in two stages. From December 2019 the hotel will offer 44 guest rooms, as well as meeting rooms, a lobby bar and a spa and fitness centre for in-house guests. In Spring 2020, a further 80 rooms will open, as well as a restaurant, rooftop bar, Garden rooms for weddings and social events and a business centre. External guests will also be able to join overnight guests in making use of the spa, fitness centre and swimming pool from spring onwards. Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton will be located at Rua Teixeira Lopes 114, 4430-999 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
