Building on the remarkable success of the direct flights from Alexandria, Assyut and Sohag to Jeddah and Kuwait, Air Cairo will operate direct flights from Alexandria and Assyut to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting March 25th.
On this occasion, Yasser El Ramly, Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo stated that "We have an ambitious plan to expand and develop the network, and will continue to provide new destinations and increase frequencies in order to provide more options to our customers in all Egyptian governorates, as well as prices to suit everyone".
"With the operation to Riyadh we will have 45 scheduled weekly flights. This expansion of the network in the Middle East comes under the strategy of the Ministry of Aviation to grow investments and provide more services for residents of Egyptian governorates located far from Cairo," El Ramly added.
Air Cairo now can accommodate the planned expansion of the network with modern and sophisticated fleet, which consists of 4 aircraft an Airbus 320s, which can accommodate up to 177 passengers in one class.It is worth mentioning that Air Cairo Is the first Low Fare Egyptian, with 100% national capital, and operating under the umbrella of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
