Centre of Learning, the education and training vertical of Thomas Cook (India) Limited, has been honoured with the prestigious South Asia Top Performing IATA Authorized Training Center 2013 certification, by the highly reputed International Air Transport Association (IATA), for the second consecutive year.
This IATA certification is recognition of the outstanding contribution of Thomas Cook India’s Centre of Learning towards developing human capital by reaching out to the next generation of leaders in the evolving tourism industry in India. Being selected from over 440 IATA training partners, IATA’s citation strongly appreciated the unstinted efforts of Centre of Learning and highlighted its achievements in:
• Number of students trained in 2012 and quality of training
• Exam pass rate throughout 2012
The awards were presented by Ismail Albaidhani, Head of Global Partnerships & Learning Innovation, during the 2013 Global Training Partner Congress held in Abu Dhabi and felicitation at the IATA DG ATS Conference in Doha during the 7th World Cargo Symposium.

Centre of Learning was recently chosen as the first non-academic industry partner by Pondicherry University to offer MBA in Tourism through Distance Learning. It has also launched a new franchise outlet – Knowledge Distribution Partner – in Kochi
Centre of Learning has diversified its portfolio of educational programmes to include:
1. MBA – Tourism (Distance Learning) from Pondicherry University.
2. Travel Professional Program – a post graduate program in Travel and Tourism Management with MBA – Tourism from Pondicherry University.
