Air Strike in France to affect flights in Europe

Travellers should expect flight delays and cancellations from tomorrow as French air traffic controllers protest against plans to centralise control of Europe's air space.
Air France AirbusA380The strikes will begin at 6am local time tomorrow (5am GMT), and will continue for three full days until Friday, June 14.

The French Civil Aviation Authority warned today of massive travel disruptions this week.

The French strike has been coordinated with industrial action by colleagues in Belgium, Austria, the UK, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria.

Passengers are advised to check with their airlines before travel to get information about possible delays or cancellations.
