Flybe launches service between Manchester and Rotterdam The Hague

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, announced a brand new, year round multi-frequency service from Manchester to Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Rotterdam The Hague Airport is located 20-25 minutes equidistant from Rotterdam, Netherlands’ ‘second city’, and the country’s seat of government in The Hague with frequent speedy connections allowing speedy access to these two key destinations.

Flights will operate twice daily during the week, and once a day at weekends with the service effective for travel from Monday, 8th February 2016. Seats are available for booking now through to the end of the 2015-16 Winter programme on 26th March 2016 with one way fares from £38.99, including taxes and charges.

The new route joins the 16 others the airline will operate to and from its Manchester hub featured in its 2015 -16 Winter schedule from Manchester with a choice of up to 662 flights a week. The Winter programme also includes up to five flights a day on the airline’s popular Amsterdam route; extra flights to both Paris Charles de Gaulle, Aberdeen, Hannover and Dusseldorf; plus the airline’s route to Nantes in regional France will operate over Christmas and New Year.

Rotterdam is an important commercial hub and, with a renowned maritime heritage, is also Europe’s largest cargo port. Flights have been timed to particularly accommodate business travel offering the opportunity for convenient day returns, as well as to attract the leisure traveller wanting to enjoy the cities’ lively cultural scenes, numerous museums and dynamic nightlife.
