Following the call for strike action which has been confirmed by certain Air France cabin crew unions for the period from 27 July to 2 August 2016, the schedule of flights operated by Air France aircraft is disrupted as from today, Wednesday 27 July 2016.
Air France regrets this situation and is making every effort to minimize the inconvenience this strike action may cause to its customers during this busy holiday period.
Today, Wednesday 27 July 2016, operations are currently running in line with the forecast announced yesterday.
Traffic forecast for Thursday 28 July 2016:
On Thursday 28 July 2016, Air France expects to operate more than 90% of its long-haul flights, more than 80% of its domestic flights and more than 70% of its medium-haul flights to and from Paris-CDG, considering that 36% of cabin crew are expected to take strike action on Thursday.
However, there may be last-minute cancellations and delays. Difficulties with crew compositions may also limit the number of passengers per flight.
For the following days, depending on the estimated number of cabin crew taking strike action, the flight schedule will be adapted and published the day before, and customers will be informed accordingly.
Air France flights operated by aircraft from another airline, including HOP! KLM and Delta, are not affected by this strike action.
In case of a cancellation or delay, Air France offers the AF Connect service to directly inform customers on their mobile phone, smartphone or by email using their personal contact details provided to the airline. In order to be personally notified by AF Connect, Air France invites customers to update their personal contact details (mobile phone and /or email address) in their reservation file on the airline's website. The free AF Connect service is available in 13 languages for all passengers worldwide.
Customers are recommended to check their flight status, available in real time on the website airfrance.com, before going to the airport.
