In addition operators such as Stena Line offer alternative routes to the continent from Harwich to Hook of Holland, DFDS from Newcastle to Amsterdam, P&O Ferries on the North Sea from Hull to Rotterdam and Zeebrugge, with Irish Ferries serving Roscoff and Cherbourg for passengers travelling from Rosslare, and Brittany Ferries offer routes direct to Spain via both Santander and Bilbao
