Seabourn, the award-winning ultra-luxury small ship cruise line, embarked on a new partnership with Swarovski Optik, making the high-quality optical instruments the official optical equipment for Seabourn’s Antarctica and Patagonia cruises.
Under the partnership, Swarovski Optik will outfit Seabourn Quest's expedition team and bridge staff with their high-precision, long-range binoculars for spotting diverse wildlife and viewing the remarkable landscapes from on board the ship and during landings ashore. In addition, a selection of Swarovski binoculars will be available for sale, providing guests the option to purchase and use the optics during their Antarctic cruise.
"Viewing Antarctica's diverse wildlife and magnificent scenery is the highlight of any cruise to the white continent and Swarovski's exceptionally fine binoculars will ensure that both our staff and guests will not miss a thing during their Antarctic journey," said John Delaney, Seabourn's senior vice president, marketing and sales. "Like all other aspects of our award winning cruises, we wanted to offer the best possible experience to our guests when viewing wildlife in this pristine part of the world."
"We are very excited about our partnership with Seabourn," said Dean Capuano, Swarovski Optik's director of communications. "The overall corporate product and our brand is a perfect fit, but moreover they will be using the product in the conditions it was designed for. Seabourn travels to some of the most beautiful and exotic locations on earth, and we are very eager to help both the staff and Seabourn travelers get closer to nature."
