Barbican was honoured at COOL awards

  • Published by Ozgur Tore

The Barbican was honoured at Prestige Event’s COOL awards ceremony last week after picking up the ‘COOLest Conference & Exhibition Centre’ award.

The awards, held at Café de Paris last Thursday evening, brought together event professionals to celebrate the industry and honour those picking up awards on the night.

Built as part of London’s Barbican development and officially opened in March 1982 by HM Queen Elizabeth, unlike many other venues, Barbican was specifically built with the dual purpose of holding conferences and arts events presenting a diverse range of art, music, theatre, dance, film and creative learning.
