Ms. Gordana Plamenac, Managing Director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, was chosen for one of three Vice Presidents of this association. The Tourist Organization of Serbia became officially a member of the European Travel Commission, an international Brussels based organization, promoting Europe as a unique product at the overseas markets, in Malta, on September 3, 2006.

The President of the European Travel Commission - ETC, consisting of 39 National Tourism Organizations, is from Germany and, in addition to Serbia, the Vice Presidents are from Belgium and Switzerland. The election of the Serbian representative for one of the ETC Vice Presidents is the result of previous participation of the Tourist Organization of Serbia and Ms. Gordana Plamenac herself in the activities of this organization, opening the opportunity of a better marketing promotion, not only in Europe, but also in other continents.
