Marco Polo Hotels announced the appointment of Thomas Pfordte as Group Director of Food & Beverage, effective March 17, 2011.
Thomas has extensive experience in Food & Beverage and Operations, having worked with Regent Hotel and Hyatt Regency in Hong Kong, Bangkok Hilton in Thailand and Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai. Prior to joining Marco Polo Hotels, he was responsible for launching “The Edge”, an exclusive hospitality division of the Dubai International Financial Center. In his new position, he works closely with Andre Scholl, Vice President, Group Operations in assisting, overseeing and implementing new initiatives within the Food & Beverage Departments of all Marco Polo hotels.
