Air Europa Grows UK Operation

  • Published by Vedat

Air Europa has made two new appointments in the UK as it moves to larger offices in London.

Maximiliano Campos has been appointed to the new role of Senior Sales Manager and Joan Coleman joins the team as Sales Support.

Campos moves to Air Europa from Aerolineas Argentina, where he was Head of Sales and Marketing for the UK and Ireland. With over 8 years’ experience within the Latin American market, Campos will be responsible for some of Air Europa’s key clients as well as driving new business opportunities for the airline.

Coleman has been appointed to support the sales and marketing teams with branding and advertising requirements and will also help manage some of the airline’s accounts.

This month will also see the Air Europa UK team move to new, larger premises in Fulham. The office will be shared with sister company Welcome Incoming Services, also a division of Spain’s leading travel and tourism group Globalia.

“I’m delighted to welcome Max as Senior Sales Manager at Air Europa. The new position is integral to our UK expansion and Max’s knowledge of the travel industry will be invaluable as we look to increase sales through working with the trade,” says Colin Stewart, UK General Manager of Air Europa.

“The new office and additions to the team are a massive boost to staff morale, with the expansion a clear indication of Air Europa’s growth in what has been a challenging time for the industry. I’ve no doubt that both Max and Joan will help strengthen our core values and emphasis on outstanding customer service as we keep up with the growing UK demand for flights to Latin America.”

Campos has over 13 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry and prior to his eight years at Aerolineas Argentinas, was a hotel manager for Thistle in London and provided customer support at Newco Airport Services in Madrid.

Apart from his native Spanish, Campos is also fluent in English. He has a degree in Hotel Business Management and enjoys playing tennis in his spare time.

With the launch of daily flights to Lima in June, a new twice-weekly service to Santa Cruz from November and with both the World Cup and the Olympics being held in Brazil in the next few years, there has never been a better time for British tourists to discover Latin America.

Air Europa flies to a range of exciting destinations including Buenos Aires, Caracas, Havana, Salvador de Bahia and Santo Domingo and with competitive prices, a modern fleet of aircraft and a generous baggage allowance, has firmly established itself as the airline of choice to Latin America and the Spanish Caribbean.
