Istanbul CVB GM is next Chair of ICCA Mediterranean Chapter

Istanbul Convention & Visitors Bureau General Manager Elif Balcı Fisunoğlu is the next Chairperson of ICCA Mediterranean Chapter.

elif-balci-fisunoglu2The ICCA network not only enhances co-operation between members of the same profession, it also enables them to work together with members in the same geographical areas. The Mediterranean Chapter is one the ICCA Chapters formed for this purpose.

The Chapter is composed of ICCA members who are registered in Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, South-East France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Serbia, and Turkey.

Currently the Chapter has 144 members from 14 countries located in the Mediterranean region and it is the largest geographical Chapter of ICCA.

Among its members are the most attractive destinations of the international meetings industry and the leading partners such as Convention & Visitors Bureaus, Tourist Boards, Destination Marketing Organizations, Professional Congress Organizers, Convention Centers, Hotels, Venues and A/V companies from these destinations.

Mrs. Fisunoğlu will officially be taking chair at the ICCA Mediterranean Chapter meeting to be held from 31 January to 2 February 2013 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Valentini S Amarantidou from Greece will be the Deputy Chair of the Chapter.
