Visit Flanders celebrates 10 Years of Same-Sex Marriage in Belgium

On 13th February 2003, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Belgium signed the law legalizing same-sex marriage, thereby becoming the second country in the world to acknowledge equal rights for the gay and lesbian community.
 
To celebrate 10 years of same-sex marriage in Belgium, the Tourist Office for Flanders-Brussels is giving away a Very Naughty Chocolate Valentine.

In August 2013 Antwerp will host the third World Outgames. Athletes from around the world will descend upon the city to compete in more than 30 athletic disciplines. The sporting events, which runs July 31st through August 11th, will be complemented by a cultural program and an LGBT-geared human rights conference. It will also coincide with the annual Antwerp Pride.
