International Travel Fair Intourmarket opened in Moscow

Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, and Ukraine are some of the countries that Russian travelers are showing great interest at the International Travel Fair Intourmarket 2013 which was opened on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

The 8th International Travel Fair "Intourmarket (ITM) - 2013" is taking place 16 – 19 March 2013 at Crocus Expo in Moscow, Russia.

Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Ömer Çelik visited the ITM 2013 on the opening day of the event. Çelik visited Turkey stand and talked with exhibitors. Çelik also came together with Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinski and head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Alexander Radkov.

itmMedinski said, “Every year, millions of Russian travelers are visiting Turkey. Turkey is an important partner of us. We are very happy with the great Turkish hospitality”.

Çelik said, “We expect a 15 percent increase in the number of Russian tourists this year. We are taking many additional measures in the areas of security and health in order to help Russian tourists feel more at home during their vacations in Turkey”.

Çelik also made a meeting with Russia’s leading tour operators; Coral Travel, Tez Tour, Pegas and Anex and got information for 2013.
