New General Manager at SETE

  • Published by Vedat
The Board of Directors of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) assigned Mr. Alexandros Lamnidis to act as the new General Manager, starting immediately.

Mr. Lamnidis is replacing Mr. George Drakopoulos, who ceased his cooperation with the confederation after 20 consecutive years. Mr. Lamnidis is also acting as the General Manager of the newly launched Institute of the Greek Tourism Confederation (INSETE).

Concerning the leadership change, the President of SETE, Mr. Andreas Andreadis, made the following statement: "Mr. Drakopoulos’ contribution to SETE was instrumental in the last 20 years. We would like to thank him for his services, knowledge and faith he has shown to the confederation and wish him every success in his future plans. 2014 will be the year in which SETE will shift its direction and accelerate the implementation of innovations. Working collectively with INSETE and Marketing Greece, I believe that SETE will achieve all of its goals. I am confident that Mr. Lamnidis, with his vast experience, entrepreneurial thinking and insights, will successfully lead SETE to the fulfillment of its objectives. "
