The Westin Columbus announced Nathan R. Wood as the Director of Sales and Marketing of the historic downtown hotel.

Nathan comes to Ohio from the Sheraton Omaha in Nebraska. As Director of Sales and Marketing, he led his team with great success. His team consistently exceeded their sales and revenue goals and increased Guest Experience Scores.

In his new role at The Westin Columbus, Nathan will oversee the sales staff and be an instrumental part of the executive team. Nathan brings his expertise as a quality driven manager with great attention to detail to The Westin Columbus. An effective leader with proven results, he will be focusing on strategic revenue growth, adapting to market trends, cultivating new business and inspiring and supporting his team.“I am excited to join the Westin Brand after many years with the Sheraton Brand of Starwood Hotels” said Nathan. “Our team will be celebrating the history of The Westin Columbus, formerly the Great Southern Hotel as we begin our Westin Refresh of the meeting space and lobby later this year.
