How to celebrate Global Wellness Day on June 11?

  • Published by Ozgur Tore

global wellness daySaturday, June 11 is our day to celebrate Global Wellness Day. As everything that is precious to us has been honored with a special day, why is it that we don’t have a special global day dedicated to the only thing which is really valuable to all of us, that is, living well?

All of us would like to be healthier, to look better, and to live well both physically and spiritually. Living well is almost the entire world’s shared dream.

With the slogan “One day can change your whole life,” we celebrate Global Wellness Day on the second Saturday of June every year as an international day dedicated to living well.

In order to make Wellness a lifestyle, Global Wellness Day aims to adopt the following seven simple steps. What is important is not to implement all of the steps all at once, but to incorporate at least just a few of them into your daily life on a regular basis.

The 7 Steps of the Global Wellness Day Manifesto

  1. Walk for an hour
  2. Drink more water
  3. Do not use plastic bottles
  4. Eat organic foods
  5. Do a good deed
  6. Have a family dinner
  7. Sleep at 10:00 pm

Major hotel brands across the world are planning a host of free activities to celebrate the international day of health and wellness. Check your favorite hotels and ask them their activities for the Global Wellness Day!
