Kit Kemp Joins Line Up of Creative Pioneers in Luxury Travel at ILTM 2012

Internationally acclaimed interior designer Kit Kemp, Design Director for Firmdale Hotels will feature in a live interview on stage at the Opening Forum of International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) in Cannes, France on Monday 3 December 2012.

Now in its eleventh year, International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) will welcome 1350 elite global travel experiences for the benefit of 1350 hand-selected luxury travel buyers representing high net worth travellers from all four corners of the world. Announcing Ms Kemp’s participation at this year’s ILTM, Exhibition Director Alison Gilmore commented:

“Kit Kemp’s original approach to interiors and her own ideas of creativity in the world of high end hotel interiors brings the world of cool, contemporary design to the very heart of luxury travel at ILTM.”

Creating exciting and unique interiors for almost three decades, in particular with her work as owner and Design Director for Firmdale Hotels, Kit Kemp is recognised as innovative in her field, arranging spaces with a carefree and colourful spirit. Melinda Stevens, Editor of Condé Nast Traveller UK will interview her in a line up that also includes Silvio Ursini, Executive Vice-President, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts (interviewed by Chris Sanderson of The Future Laboratory) and P.R.S. Oberoi, Chairman & CEO, The Oberoi Group (interviewed by Klara Glowczewska, Editor In Chief of Condé Nast Traveler US).

The ILTM Opening Forum will begin with an overview of ‘The World in 2013’ by John Andrews, consultant editor of The Economist and ‘The New World of Luxury’ by Nicholas Coleridge, President of Condé Nast International.  

This luxury gathering at ILTM will also hear from key travel influencers during a dedicated Educational Programme, also on Monday 3 December, in a series of topical seminars designed to answer frequent questions and advise on specific luxury traveller behaviour. The programme will include:

  • Marketing to BRIC markets
  • The Role of Children in Family Travel Planning
  • Demographic changes impacting Cruise Marketing
  • Gastronomy driving Luxury Travel Decision Making
