On Friday January 25, Cancun celebrated the opening of the second Louis Vuitton store in the destination, and the latest addition to its robust offering of upscale shopping options.
Located at the resort town’s La Isla Shopping Village, this is the largest Louis Vuitton store in all of Latin America. Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr was amongst the special guests at the opening of the new Cancun store, and participated in the honorary ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new Louis Vuitton store is located in La Isla, an open-air shopping complex located in the center of Cancun’s famed Hotel Zone. La Isla has opened Fashion Harbour, a new wing within the shopping center’s Venice-like facility, which will be dedicated exclusively to high-end boutiques like its first resident, LV. Other luxury brands already available at La Isla include Facconable, Lladro, Swarovski, Tous, Calvin Klein and more.
This is the second Louis Vuitton store in the destination. The first LV storefront in Cancun opened 9 years ago, and is located at Luxury Avenue, Cancun’s most upscale shopping mall. Louis Vuitton opened a second location following the huge success of the first one and an impressive demand for luxury products in the destination.
This latest boutique introduces a new architectural style to Cancun, utilizing the finest materials, which include natural wood floors with hand-painted varnish. The boutique offers minimalized sophistication, offering its clientele a harmonious and cozy shopping atmosphere. In addition to beautiful turquoise waters, a multitude of AAA Five Diamond resorts and restaurants and an abundance of adventure and cultural offerings, Cancun also offers a wealth of luxury shopping opportunities. In addition to La Isla’s new high-end wing, Luxury Avenue is Cancun’s premiere shopping destination for the most upscale storefronts, with brands like Cartier, Ermenegildo Zegna, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Pineda Covalin, Carolina Herrera, Fendi and Coach among others.
