Worldwide Events, the global leaders in one-to-one hospitality trade shows, announce that their latest leisure-focused event will be held in the Alpine resort of Interlaken, Switzerland. The PRIVATE Leisure Forum will bring together high-caliber buyers and suppliers from the leisure travel industry, allowing them to meet, socialize and network in spectacular surroundings.
The PRIVATE Leisure Forum which will run for four days from 4 to 8 October 2015 will house 90 suppliers that will meet with 200 elite buyers from the leisure travel industry. This intimate event will provide ample opportunities for networking through pre-scheduled meetings and inspiring activities, forging long-lasting relationships that benefit all parties.
Richard Barnes, Managing Director of Worldwide Events, said: “The very high end of the luxury market needs a small, exclusive event like this that brings together the key players in the industry to build and strengthen relationships and secure quality business.”
The elegant 5-star Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa (a member of Leading Hotels of the World) will host the PRIVATE Leisure Forum, offering the ultimate environment to conduct fruitful meetings and create lasting memories outside of the meeting room.
Barnes added: “Switzerland has a long history of setting the standards of excellence in the hospitality sector. Interlaken is the perfect destination, and at the Victoria-Jungfrau we will have the chance to treat our attendees in the way they treat their own customers.”
A premier luxury destination of international renown, Interlaken is an astounding setting for the PRIVATE Leisure Forum 2015 and the ideal starting point for the networking activities planned for delegates. The destination, regarded as the adventure sports capital of Europe, offers something for all – from paragliding over the Swiss Alps, canyoning, rafting, zip lining to tranquil cruises on Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. Forum delegates will experience this stunning Alpine landscape through a package of unique activities designed to help build long-lasting relationships. Stefan Otz, CEO of Interlaken Tourism, said: “We are very proud to host the Forum and to present our resort situated between iconic peaks and lakes to such a high class audience, networking in and outside of business.” Urs Eberhard, Head of Markets & Meetings at Switzerland Tourism, added: “Switzerland offers premium experiences from Europe’s unspoilt nature, world heritage and Swiss quality and high end hospitality and we are thrilled to pass these on to PRIVATE Leisure Forum 2015.”
This event follows the success of the pilot PRIVATE Leisure Forum held in Malta in October 2014, where 36 luxury suppliers met with 40 of the world’s most productive luxury buyers over two days. “PRIVATE Leisure Forum is a faultless event with a strong customer focus. Productive and delightful!” said Eduardo de Magalhaes from Kameha Grand Zurich. Anthony Valen from Il Borro agreed: “PRIVATE Leisure Forum is an outstanding event – excellent meetings, great buyers and fantastic opportunities to network and meet people in different situations. Absolutely spot on.”
