Alain St.Ange, Seychelles’ Minister for Tourism & Culture, said: “Seychelles is proud to be hosting the prestigious World Travel Awards African & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2015 at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort on Saturday, June 20th.

“This is a fine example of Africa doing for Africa, and the Vanilla Islands doing for the Vanilla Islands, a concept that I have long held dear, and this is an excellent example of this process in action.”

He added: “At Kempinski Seychelles Resort, participants in this ultimate travel event will have an opportunity to taste Seychelles’ hospitality at its very best and showcase the African and Indian Ocean region’s hospitality products for the diversity, authenticity and excellence they represent.”

World Travel Awards president Graham Cooke said: “It has been a long-held dream for World Travel Awards to visit Seychelles. Now, in our 22nd year, this dream is finally coming true. Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare is the perfect place to host our annual Gala Ceremony and I look forward to welcoming all our nominees to this fantastic destination.”
