Arab tourists bought nearly 400 real estates in Trabzon city in Turkey's Black Sea region.
Trabzon is one of the most important mountain and tableland tourism centers of Turkey.
Governor Recep Kizilcik of Trabzon told AA that Trabzon hosted 2.6 million tourists in 2012 and 60,000 of them were Arabs.
Tourists mostly from Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait preferred to visit Turkey, said Kizilcik, adding that recently 12 Saudi Arabians bought 18 real estates in Trabzon.
Kizilcik said that the value of those 400 real estates sold to Arabs was approximately 160 million Turkish lira.Kizilcik said that they expected to host 80,000 Arab tourists this year, adding that this figure would further increase when direct flights between Riyadh and Trabzon began.
