Atlasjet launches scheduled flights from Kuwait to Istanbul

Atlasjet, the private airline from Turkey, is launching scheduled flights from Kuwait to Istanbul.

atlasjet-logoAs of 24 July 2014, the airline will be operating scheduled flights from Kuwait to Istanbul 4 days a week. The flights will be operated to Atatürk Airport, which is strategically located in the heart of Istanbul close to the business and historic centres.

Throughout the 3.5 hour flight from Kuwait to Istanbul, Atlasjet offers passengers travelling in EkonomiPlus a comfortable journey in leather seats with 77 cm legroom. They also benefit from a 40-kilogram baggage allowance, a wide range of complimentary food, beverages and snacks and free seat allocation.

Atlasjet greets passengers traveling to those destinations with a 3 hour flight time or longer such as Kuwait – Istanbul flights with their “Flying Chef” service. The wide range of complimentary food and drink offered to Atlasjet passengers is prepared by “Flying Chefs”. The “Flying Chefs” offer a range of attractively presented dishes, giving passengers individual attention and ensuring that they have an even more enjoyable and delicious flight. The Chef prepares special daily dishes, adding a personal touch to both Turkish and international cuisine. The Chef personally prepares some signature dishes on board such as Chef’s dessert.

Atlasjet passengers can leave Kuwait at 03.10 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Istanbul Atatürk Airport at 06.50 and leave Istanbul at 22.50 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Kuwait at 02.20. It is expected that these flights will particular be popular among Kuwaiti businessmen who visit Istanbul for short stays.

Passengers travelling on Atlasjet’s flights can also fly on from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to domestic destinations such as Antalya, Bodrum and Izmir or abroad to Arbil, Cyprus and London – with a reasonable transfer time.

Atlasjet passengers can also choose a real Business Class experience in order to enjoy additional benefits during their trip. Passengers in Business Class travel in wide seats which are designed purely for Business Class with 100 cm of legroom and benefit from a large range of hot meal and beverage offers, as well as special services including a 50-kilogram baggage allowance, priority baggage, priority check-in, use of the Lounge and VIP plane transfer at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

Ticket prices on Atlasjet’s Kuwait - Istanbul route start at €115 (all inclusive) one-way with EkonomiPlus and €215 with Business Class. Tickets are available on and from authorised travel agencies.
