Turkmenistan’s national air carrier Turkmenistan Airlines started flights from the Ashgabat International Airport (ASB) to the Turkish capital city of Ankara. Ankara becomes the second destination of the carrier.
Turkmenistan Airlines started operations to its second city in Turkey, with Ankara (ESB) being added to its existing flights to Istanbul Atatürk. The new route will be flown twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays) by the airline’s 737-700 and B-800 fleet.
Currently, Turkmenistan Airlines performs 13 passenger and one cargo flight per week from Ashgabat to Istanbul (Turkey). One more flight to Istanbul is performed from the Turkmenbashi International Airport. Turkmenistan’s aircrafts carry around 2.5 thousand passengers per week via this route.
Turkmenistan Airlines offers flights to 25 destinations in 12 countries from ASB.
