The Sydney-born Australian Actor Hugh Jackman canceled the rest of his planned four-show stint in Turkey because of a vocal hemorrhage. Jackman who arrived in Istanbul on Monday told reporters of his great grandfather. "My great-grandfather lived here," Jackman told reporters. "He spent his life here working at a bank in Istanbul. My father always says you're sort of part Turkish somewhere. Maybe that's why I love the coffee so much."
He did manage to perform a duet of two songs with Turkish pop singer Bora Uzer Tuesday night. But at the recommendation of a pair of noted vocal doctors, Jackman was first to scuttle his remaining performances because of the bruising in his vocal folds.
