U.S. lifts ban on US-Turkey flights

faa lifts banFollowing last week's attempted coup in Turkey, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) prohibited all airlines from flying between the two countries on Saturday. But on Monday the FAA said it had lifted restrictions on all flights to and from Turkey.

FAA said in its Facebook page: “Update on travel restrictions to Turkey:

The FAA lifted all restrictions on flights to and from Turkey at 1:45 p.m. EDT, July 18, 2016.”
