Anaheim Marriott Continues To Expand Sales Team With Two New Appointments

The Anaheim Marriott is continuing to expand its sales team with an additional two new hires, it was announced by Dan Shaughnessy, director of sales and marketing.

Lauren-StratzLauren Stratz is the hotel's newly appointed Destination Sales Executive. She previously worked in Marriott’s Modern Essentials Courtyard brand hotel in Milpitas, CA as the Operations Manager. Lauren joined Marriott Hotels & Resorts in 2011. She worked at the Marriott La Jolla in the front office and also at an oceanfront boutique hotel in San Diego. Lauren graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Hospitality & Tourism Management, with an emphasis in hotels from L. Robert Payne’s School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. In her new position, Lauren will work with all external sales channels and the property sales team to produce and execute site inspections for incoming clients.

Ben-StinnettBen Stinnett has been named Senior Sales Executive covering the California State Association and Affinity markets. Ben joins the hotel from Marriott’s Los Angeles/Anaheim Area sales team where he was Account Executive for Mid-Market Corporate accounts for the past four years. Prior to coming to Los Angeles, Ben was an Account Executive with Marriott’s Market Sales Team in San Antonio, Texas and Marriott’s Downtown Alamo Sales Team. He has been with Marriott for five years. Ben earned his BS in Electronic Media Management with a Minor in Business from Northern Arizona University.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Anaheim resort district, each of the hotel's 1,030 hotel rooms features Marriott's signature bedding and high-tech amenities. The property is walking distance to the Downtown Disneyland® District, an outdoor promenade with restaurants, theaters, and shopping in a tropical setting. The hotel is also near to the Anaheim GardenWalk, an oasis of outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment in the heart of Orange County. The Anaheim Marriott offers a fitness center, outdoor pool, JW's Steakhouse, Cafe Del Sol, Starbuck's Coffee House, Pizza Hut, and Degrees Wine and Patio Bar. The property features a total of 100,000 square feet of meeting space and a total of 30 meeting rooms. The largest meeting room is the Marquis Ballroom with a maximum meeting space of 25,636 square feet, able to accommodate 3,500 participants.
