GenieConnect, the smarter event technology provider, underlined its commitment to delivering on its customers’ success with the announcement of two senior hires.
Stephen Jones joins as Head of Development with the responsibility of developing and deliver on GenieConnect’s product roadmap; and Iain Halpin is the new Marketing Director and will lead on all aspects of the communications mix.
Stephen Jones joins with extensive experience as a technical leader. His background lies firmly in designing, building and delivering enterprise architectures for business sectors, such as finance, aerospace, defence and online gaming. Stephen comments, “I have been brought on to lead product strategy and drive success in all areas of the development lifecycle for GenieConnect. I look forward to both delivering even more on our current products, and to paving the way for new solutions to assist event organizers further.”
This comes in the third year of trading for GenieConnect, with a maturing business, technology and client-base. There is an increasing need for enterprise-level event solutions, and the GenieConnect development vision offers complete, connected technology allied to expert delivery.
Iain Halpin joins the company to ensure the business has a clear direction, consistent messaging and is supplying clients the best practice collateral they need. Iain brings with him over 20 years’ marketing experience in the technology sector and specific expertise in content creation and messaging. Iain comments, “I’m excited to be joining GenieConnect at such a critical time: the company is maturing rapidly and my job is to ensure we present a consistent and differentiated face to the marketplace and to merchandise the expertise that exists within GenieConnect.”
GenieConnect was established in 2010 and has since provided digital solutions for over 1500 events across the world.
