Ceren Akyuz will commence her role on the 22nd July 2013 as Director of Human Resources at soon to open Istanbul Marriott Hotel, Sisli.
Ceren began her career with InterContinental Hotels in Istanbul and worked in the operations as Front Desk Supervisor and Trainer. In 2002 she was promoted as Training Specialist for the hotel developing her passion for Training and Human Resources. After 9 successful years with the company, she moved to work for Activis, a multinational company and one of the world's leading players in the development, manufacture, and sale of first-class generics as HR Project and Training Supervisor. She continued to develop her career in HR and became their Head Office HR Manager responsible for all HR activities within the company. Her passion for the hotel industry brought her back to work for Movenpick, Istanbul in 2011 as Director of Human Resources and now joins us to open our brand new Managed Marriott property in this vibrant and growing city.
Ceren is a graduate of the Istanbul University of Tourism & Hotel Management, as well as being Myers Brigg Certified trainer and NEO PI-R and Thomas personality inventory test Qualified Administrator.
