At least 23 people killed at Moscow metro crash on Tuesday

Emergency crews in the Russian capital have finished a rescue operation at the site of a subway train crash that killed at least 23 people.

moscow-metro-crashA total of 23 people were killed and 146 hospitalized, when a subway train derailed during the morning rush hour on Tuesday.

All the passengers trapped in the underground tunnel following the derailment have been evacuated.

A day of mourning has been declared in Moscow for those who died in the deadly accident.
