XING EVENTS, the event industry expert for attendee management and event marketing introduces its new and updated version of the XING EVENTS App.
The new features include improved usability and a comprehensive content management system that helps organisers present their event even better and provides attendees with enhanced interactivity and additional content. The XING EVENTS App for mobile devices running IOS as well as Android, which matches attendees with suitable events, was launched at the beginning of this year.
The app update also gives organisers a new feature, which increases the information content of the event significantly. The event guide offers organisers the chance to create event specific content such as an agenda, speakers, event locations and sponsors. This information can be implemented and customised by the event organiser. It is now also possible to place sponsors (with logo), company information and a link to their website inside of the app. Sponsors are listed in the app and can be highlighted individually.
Attendees receive personalised, individual recommendations out of more than 150.000 events listed on XING, based on their network and their profile. Utilizing a recommendation service, the app identifies and recommends events and contacts that match the individual user profile. When joining an event the user receives additional useful information, such as a list of attending XING members and recommendations of people worth meeting. The newly introduced people2meet functionality does not only benefit the organiser, but means real added value for attendees. This new, intelligent functionality suggests people one should meet based on common interests. The app also makes it very easy to get in touch with new contacts, as well as plan your schedule with the integrated calendar function.
