International vacation trends include:
* The number of people taking a summer vacation increased 60% from 2011 to 2012 and the number of people taking a summer vacation increased an additional 39% from 2012 to 2013.
* Travelers want to get as much out of vacation time as possible - 66% of reservations go to more than one city.
* While 20% of go-today's travelers opt for a 6-night package and 15% opt for a 9-night package, 30% choose to create a completely custom experience.
* Buying a set package of flight, hotel, and sightseeing saves an average of $250 per person.
