Palace Resorts is launching a global conference specifically for travel agents.
The Palace Experience Global Conference will be held August 21-24, 2014 at Moon Palace and will feature seminars, sales workshops and more. Palace Resorts is inviting industry insiders and VIPs including top travel agents, industry delegates, and tour operators to attend an event-filled weekend complete with educational seminars, sales-driven workshops, entertainment and more.
Featuring speakers and travel advisors from the United States, Mexico, Canada and Latin America, The Palace Experience Global Conference is offering an added incentive for attending with complimentary admittance for travel agents. Additionally, to subsidize the airfare for participants, Palace Resorts is offering agents a booking bonus/refund of up to $500 based on the confirmation of three traveled bookings following the conference.
The event will kick off Thursday evening with a lavish Mexican-themed welcome reception where attendees can enjoy libations, hors d'oeuvres and live entertainment, followed by late night events at Noir, the resort’s new nightclub, and Sky Bar, a chic lounge with a billiard table, expansive bar and plush seating. The conference will commence on Friday with opening remarks from key Palace Resorts executives, a presentation from the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau and multiple breakout sessions focusing on topics ranging from, how to better utilize social media, to, how sales programs can boost group business.
Saturday will offer an opportunity for weekend attendees to network with Palace Resorts executives and representatives and learn about unique selling points and brand differentiators such as the $1,500 Resort Credit Promotion, wedding enhancements, golf programs and more. Following property visits and site-inspections, Saturday evening will feature a black-tie gala event featuring a sumptuous dinner complete with wine pairings and a PRO Specialist Recognition Awards ceremony.
As a leader in enhancing resort/travel agent relations, the PRO program comes at a key time in the increasingly competitive leisure and business travel markets. The objective of the program is to further develop the knowledge of travel agents, empowering them to become Palace Resorts experts in the eye of the consumer.
