Begin this new 11-day journey around Central and Eastern Europe in Zagreb, a traditional medieval European city. Travelling south from Croatia into Bosnia and Herzegovina, guests will stay one night each in the capital city, Sarajevo - a city rich in religion and cultural history, Sarajevo is often called the Jerusalem of Europe and Mostar, famous for the Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. Travellers will then head to the Dalmation Coast to spend two nights in the medieval city of Dubrovnik, where they will visit all the main sights as well as enjoy free time to explore the beautiful city. Heading north along the spectacular Adriatic Coast, guests will pass old fishing villages and new resorts before arriving in Split, where they will visit the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, Jupiter's Temple and the Cathedral. Lovers of art will enjoy an excursion to Trogir, a picturesque stone town that is a treasure trove of Renaissance and Baroque buildings and Romanesque churches. The journey ends with spectacular views of breathtaking waterfalls and lakes at the forested National Park of Plitvice.
