With a large central swimming pool complex with a restaurant the hotel accommodation blocks are positioned in a semi-circle arrangement all facing the spectacular beach of Beau Vallon of the main island of Mahe.
Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture accompanied by his PS and members of his Secretariat led a delegation to the New Savoy Hotel project. The Minister responsible for Tourism discussed the staff recruitment process and procedures in place and impressed of the developers to set the date for their soft opening as this was important for the country bearing in mind the constraints of air access for mid ocean islands.
Minister St.Ange also re-iterated to the developers that 'SUBIOS, the Seychelles Festival of the Sea' that is held every November at Beau Vallon needed all the support to ensure that construction site does not impact negatively on this Seychelles popular event.
The current construction of the Beau Vallon public Promenade passing right in front of the hotel was also visited.
