Best Western Hotels & Resorts has unveiled plans to open a new upscale resort on Thailand’s popular resort island of Phuket. The new resort property will have a total of 425 upscale rooms and suites, all featuring a selection of modern amenities including flat-screen TVs, universal power sockets, USB ports and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The company has penned an agreement to operate the brand new BEST WESTERN PREMIER Himalai Resort, which will rise in the idyllic Kamala area of the island.
Kamala Beach is a stunning stretch of golden sand, lapped by the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea on Phuket’s popular West Coast. Located just north of Patong, the island’s main tourist area, Kamala retains a quieter, more relaxed ambience, while also being just a short drive from a multitude of shopping malls, restaurants and vibrant nightlife venues.
Best Western Hotels & Resorts currently operates three properties in Phuket: BEST WESTERN Phuket Ocean Resort, BEST WESTERN PREMIER Bangtao Beach Resort & Spa and BEST WESTERN Patong Beach. These form part of a nationwide collection of 9 hotels and resorts across Thailand.
