ROBINSON Club Jandia Playa

ROBINSON Announces New Openings & Renovations for 2019

Premium active holiday brand ROBINSON, a 100% TUI subsidiary, will be adding a new territory to their portfolio in 2019.

The next 12 months will also see a streamlining of their club categorisation, making it easier for holidaymakers to choose the perfect holiday to suit their needs, and they have recently reopened the original ROBINSON Club Jandia Playa in Fuerteventura after a lengthy renovation.

ROBINSON will be launching their most westerly resort in December 2019 when the doors of ROBINSON Club Cabo Verde open for the first time. The resort will become the fifth adults-only Club in the brand’s portfolio, giving couples & solo travellers the chance to enjoy a relaxing escape to the gorgeous golden sand, azure waters and year-round sun.

There are few places quite as idyllic or beautiful as the southern tip of Sal, Cape Verde where ROBINSON’s newest club, boasting around 300 rooms, will sit on 8km of sandy beaches. The region is perfect for water-sports, and guests will also be able to go on excursions to explore Cape Verde’s fascinating history and unique Creole Cape-Verdean culture. Like all ROBINSON resorts, their latest club will take inspiration from the local area in regards to the design and culinary offering.

As standard with ROBINSON resorts there are always plenty of activities on offer; alongside the top-drawer water-sports, fitness fanatics can enjoy the brand’s unique WellFit®programme, which includes plenty of gym & yoga classes. There will be a luxurious spa in which to switch-off after a workout – or skip the workout & just enjoy a pampering.

ROBINSON’s renovated flagship reopens

ROBINSON Club Jandia Playa, the brand’s debut resort, reopened its doors on 6 December 2018 following a year’s overhaul. The beachside Fuerteventura hotel originally launched in 1970 and has since welcomed around a million guests, with many returning to the iconic resort year after year.

The renovation has seen a total rebuild of the “Torre“ building, which now boasts 140 rooms over ten storeys – 26 of which are suites. Atop the chic new structure is a stylish sky bar with an infinity pool and chill-out area. Also included on the property are the modern WellFit® spa area, the newly designed restaurant with terrace and a lifestyle boutique across the island resort.

Reclassifying the perfect get-away

Summer 2019 will see the completion of ROBINSON’s new club categorisation, making it easier for holidaymakers to pick the perfect club for their needs. The new categories will label clubs as either “For Adults“, “For Families“ or “For All“ – meaning travellers with tots to teens can easily choose where will best suit their family, honeymooners can pick the ideal destination for a relaxing & romantic escape and solo travellers can make a smart choice about their next adventure.
