A new 4-star, all-inclusive beachfront resort will be added to Dubai’s growing hospitality offerings when it opens its doors in December 2020.

Riu Dubai is the new hotel that will host travelers at its 800 rooms and suits. The hotel is a joint venture between Nakheel and RIU Hotels & Resorts. Bringing a new hospitality concept to Dubai and marking the 100th RIU establishment worldwide, the new hotel is RIU’s first property in the Middle East.

Hotel Riu Dubai is located on the Deira Islands beachfront and it offers 24-hour all-inclusive stays to make your holiday a unique experience. The facilities of this hotel in Dubai are sure to amaze you: entertainment areas, pools, a spa, a conference room, various themed restaurants, the Splash Water World water park...

Hotel Riu Dubai has more than 750 rooms which all offer maximum comfort for you to enjoy your stay. In them, you will find comfortable beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans and minibars, among many more services. The pool zone also guarantees moments to unwind: enjoy a day of relaxation on the sun loungers, take the chance to have a drink at the swim-up bars or simply refresh yourself from the warm climate in the city. But if you prefer, you can also head for the beach and enjoy your surroundings.

This all-inclusive hotel in Dubai offers a wide range of dining options so that you can enjoy your choice of dishes. In the restaurants at Hotel Riu Dubai, you can taste the best Asian, Italian and Lebanese dishes, as well as breakfasts and lunches with live cooking stations and, in the bars, you can choose from snacks and appetisers at any time of day.

Entertainment and fun are guaranteed during your holiday at Hotel Riu Dubai. You’re going to love the activities designed by our entertainment team, the shows and live music and the Splash Water World water park. What’s more, the youngest members of the family have 2 children’s pools, one of which includes slides, and the RiuLand club with special activities for them.

After a day packed with activity, there is nothing better than pampering yourself at the spa in this hotel on Deira Islands. We recommend you try out the sauna and the hydromassage bathtub, and that you take this opportunity to book the treatment that most takes your fancy, to return from your holiday totally refreshed.

Deira Islands, Nakheel’s new, 15 square kilometre waterfront city, has added 40 kilometres of coastline to Dubai, and is transforming the emirate’s oldest and most traditional trading hub into a world class destination for living, tourism, retail and leisure.

The all-inclusive beachfront resort in Dubai has been completed, with the splash water park in the final stages of construction and landscaping work under way.

Thorsten Ries, Managing Director, Nakheel Hospitality and Leisure, said: “Our first international joint venture brings a new dimension to Dubai’s tourism sector, providing a fresh concept in accommodation and attracting a new market segment to the emirate. We are proud to partner with RIU to create the Riu Dubai, a shining example of our commitment to delivering a diverse range of tourism-related projects in line with government goals.”

The news comes as Nader Ghosheh Sayfi is named General Manager of the resort, which will be the first attraction to open at Nakheel’s Deira Islands coastal city.

Nader has spent his entire 27-year hospitality career with RIU, running 10 resorts and opening several five-star, all-inclusive properties, including, most recently, the Riu Palace Tikida Agadir. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Hotel Management, and master’s degrees in International Commerce and Tourism, specialising in new destinations, and in Protocol, Communications and Events. He also speaks fluent Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.

“It is an honour to join this incredible resort and be part of RIU’s first venture in the Middle East, made all the more special as this is our 100th property worldwide,” he said.

“We are already seeing a lot of interest from guests keen to experience Dubai’s famous wow factor, and are thrilled to be opening in time for the festive and peak travel seasons.”
