American Airlines to offer New Non-Stop Routes to Cancun

American Airlines will offer new non-stop routes to Cancun, Mexico. AA is adding four new routes to Cancun, adding seasonal Saturday-only service to the Mexican resort destination from four non-hub cities.

The new seasonal service to Cancun International Airport (CUN) will operate on Saturdays from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Kansas City International Airport (MCI).

Customers may begin booking flights for these new routes in mid-November once governmental approvals have been obtained, and service will start on March 5, 2016.

A319s will be retrofitted with AC power ports at every seat and new overhead bins with increased storage for carryon bags. When complete, all A319s will be configured with 128 seats with 8 First Class seats and 18 Main Cabin Extra seats.
