New Non-Stop Flight from Orlando to Amsterdam

Amsterdam nyr

Delta Air Lines launches a new non-stop route to Europe from Orlando. Beginning March 30, 2018, Delta Air Lines, in partnership with KLM/Air France, will begin offering new service from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport (AMS).

Amsterdam becomes the 57th international non-stop route from Orlando International Airport and the 19th added in the last three years. Amsterdam is a key route addition for Orlando. AMS is not only MCO’s fourth largest unserved international market, it also provides access to Schipol’s extensive route network, the fourth largest in the world with non-stop service to 254 destinations.

The new service will operate daily with departing flights scheduled to leave MCO at 9:45 p.m. arriving at AMS at 12:45 p.m., with the return flight departing AMS at 1:15 p.m. and arriving at MCO at 5:41 p.m. The service will be operated on Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 225 seats (25 Business/200 coach).

“This is great news,” said Frank Kruppenbacher, Chairman of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “Service to Amsterdam will benefit the local community by generating an estimated $80 million in annual economic impact to Central Florida.”

“New service to a vibrant city like Amsterdam reinforces the international appeal of Central Florida to global travelers,” said Phil Brown, Executive Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “It also provides connections to Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.”
