Uzbekistan Airways transported three millionth passenger

On December 17 Uzbekistan Airways registered the three millionth passenger from the beginning 2018.

The event for the airline is significant because the airline passed the third million milestone for the first time.  The jubilee passenger of the airline became a citizen of Uzbekistan Iskandar Fozilov, registered on the flight HY334 Dubai-Tashkent.

That Iskandar Fozilov was a special passenger, he was informed at check-in at the Dubai airport, then congratulations were heard on board the aircraft from the speakers on behalf of the entire crew of the Boeing 787 aircraft.

The meeting of the three millionth passenger took place in a solemn atmosphere at the Tashkent International Airport – the anniversary of the anniversary was met at the ramp by representatives of the airline, who carried the passenger to the ceremony area for giving presents with special honors.

Name plate, balloons, greetings, and gifts – so met the jubilee passenger.  Representatives of Uzbekistan Airways and the media gathered at the airport to celebrate such a significant event. Congratulations were voiced to the special passenger and gifts were presented, including a corporate layout of the Uzbekistan Airways aircraft and a certificate for a free air ticket for the NAC flight in any direction and at both ends.

The period of the airline’s transportation of the anniversary passenger was roughly determined on the basis of the average number of passengers carried per day.  The flight and the passenger were identified immediately after the registration of the “hero of the day”.

This year is a record year for Uzbekistan Airways. Efforts of the airline to systematically increase passenger traffic of the three millionth mark do not stop.  Uzbekistan Airways plans to expand the geography of flights, increase the number of flights to existing destinations, update and expand the aircraft fleet and, of course, improve the quality of service.
