Ryanair To Fly from Manchester to Billund

Ryanair announced a new route from Manchester to Billund, with a four times weekly service commencing in April, as part of Ryanair’s Manchester Summer 2019 schedule.

Billund is a small town in Jutland, Denmark. Billund is a rare example of a Danish town that has grown and developed because of a single company: the LEGO Group. When local carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen first began producing wooden toys from his workshop in 1932, no one could have predicted how big his dream would become. Not only has LEGO created thousands of jobs in the region, but it has allowed Billund to flourish into the tourist destination that it is today.

Ryanair’s Manchester Summer schedule includes 63 routes in total with 8 new routes to Bordeaux, Billund, Gothenburg, Kyiv, Marrakech, Marseille, Nantes and Thessaloniki, which will deliver over 5.4m customers through Manchester Airport next year.

UK consumers and visitors can now enjoy even lower fares and the latest “Always Getting Better” improvements including:

  • Reduced checked-in bag fees
    • lower €25 x 20kg check bag
    • lower €8 x 10kg check bag
  • Ryanair Rooms with 10% off Travel Credit
  • ‘Try Somewhere New’ – travel content platform on Ryanair.com

Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Robin Kiely said, “Ryanair is pleased to announce a new Manchester route to Billund, commencing in April, which will operate four times weekly, as part of our Manchester summer 2019 schedule.
