Frontier Airlines Announces 6 New Low-Fare Flights from Orlando

Frontier Airlines is expanding its signature low-fare service from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to six new destinations, with the first of the flights starting in April.

The addition of these destinations means the airline will serve 59 cities non-stop from Orlando, the most of any carrier. To celebrate the new routes, Frontier is offering special introductory one-way fares as low as $29* which are available now on flyfrontier.com.

The new domestic destinations are Dallas (DFW), Houston (IAH), Baltimore (BWI), Bradley/Hartford (BDL), and Boston (BOS), the latter of which becomes the 106th city in Frontier’s network. Additionally, Frontier will launch the only nonstop service from Orlando to Punta Cana (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic. The carrier will operate the flights with the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.

“We are excited to be further expanding in Orlando – with today’s announcement we now serve all of the 10 largest domestic markets from Orlando and 24 of the 25 largest markets,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President, Commercial for Frontier Airlines. “Frontier is always looking for ways to make travel easier and more affordable, and our reimagined frequent flier program with family-friendly benefits and attainable elite status, as well as our reduced change fees – free if you make changes more than 90 days before you fly – are the latest examples of what we mean by Low Fares Done Right.”

Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKSsm. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees and priority boarding.

Frontier flies one of the youngest fleets in the industry, the Airbus A320 Family of more than 80 jet aircraft. With nearly 200 new planes on order, Frontier will continue to grow to deliver on the mission of providing affordable travel across America. Frontier’s young fleet also ensures that the company will continue to keep fares low and that customers will enjoy a pleasant and reliable experience flying with the airline.

Frontier wants its customers to have more options when they fly and there is no fee for reservation changes made 90 days or more from the travel date. If you need to make a change between 89 and 14 days from departure, the fee is only $49. Changes made 13 days or less from travel cost $119. When making a change, customers just pay any increase in fare that applies. Service is seasonal, and frequency and times are subject to change, so please check FlyFrontier.com for the most updated schedule
