Virgin Atlantic appointed APG Israel as its GSA

Virgin Atlantic has appointed APG Israel, part of the Maman Group and the APG Network, as its general sales agent (GSA) to further support the airline’s operations in Israel.

An expert in aviation and airlines, APG will support the airline on all sales and marketing activity as well as reservations and ticketing through its contact centre.

Richard Branson APG IsraelVirgin Atlantic flies daily between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport. The five hour flight will operate on an Airbus A330-300 aircraft boasting Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class, Premium and Economy Light, Classic and Delight offering.

With complimentary food and drink onboard, over 300 hours of entertainment and wifi, the new service will offer a consistent long haul experience for those customers connecting from Tel Aviv seamlessly via London Heathrow to destinations throughout North America across both the Virgin Atlantic and Delta networks including New York, Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

On 23 Oct, Richard Branson and an aircraft filled with VIPs touched down in Tel Aviv to celebrate Virgin Atlantic’s new service between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion airport. The group spent three days in Israel exploring the sights and sounds of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem including Jaffa, the Peres Centre for Peace, Rothschild Boulevard, the old City, the Shuk and the Western Wall.
