More families travel with children at Domodedovo Airport

Domodedovo Airport Sees Increase in Family Travel

Moscow Domodedovo Airport expects a gradual air traffic recovery, seeing a growing demand for traveling with children. In June, over 66 thousand kids came through the airport.

In the first two weeks of July, Domodedovo served over 48.5 thousand young passengers.

The airlines have added more flights to popular holiday destinations, including Anapa, Simferopol, Gelendzhik, and Sochi, increasing flight frequencies 40% year-over-year.

The airport has been developing its family services, to ensure a seamless traveling experience for parents and their kids. The baby care rooms at the terminal building are open round the clock. Strollers can be borrowed at no cost. Domodedovo also offers its unaccompanied minor service for young flyers between 12-18 years.

Moscow Domodedovo Mikhail Lomonosov Airport is one of the largest air hubs in Russia. Members of the world’s leading airline alliances including Star Alliance and oneworld have chosen Moscow Domodedovo Airport for their flights to Moscow.
